Can you feel the love?

Loving the train ride at the beach...it was tight, but we all squeezed in!
A little Brother-Sister loving going on!

A little love from Uncle Jared!

This was the kiddos Valentines morning breakfast...it's called sugar toast and its extra healthy!

I can't help it...it's the truth!

Well, LOVE has been a big topic in the Howatt Home lately. It usually goes like this, "Gracely, you need to love your brother Mee-Mee, not push him (or hit him, or scream at him, or snatch things away from him, etc. etc. etc.). The list really could go on and on. Thank goodness that Emerson has such an easy-going personality; because Princess Grace, well not so much. :) They really do adore each other though. I can see such a bond growing between the two of them. It's a great thing.

I thought I would share a few "love" pics from our crew. Hope you enjoy!

Saying Good-bye Just Stinks!

Well, it doesn't matter how long they stay...a week or three months. Saying "good-bye" is still hard no matter what. Grammy and Grampa left this morning to head back home to Maine. So we are a little blue today. But we had a great time together and for that, we are very thankful. Todd and I feel so blessed that our children have Grandparents that absolutely adore them and show them so much love.

So, this post is dedicated to Grammy and Grampa. We love you both so much. Thank you for everything! See you on Skype real soon!

P.S. Poor Goo-Goo...she keeps repeating over and over: "Goo-Goo love Gammy and Gampa. Goo-Goo love Gammy and Gampa." I think we have a bit of adjusting to do! Say a little prayer for the Googster! Much love!

"Mee-Mee" & "Goo-Goo"

Well, nicknames are rampant in our home. "Mee-Mee" is actually Emerson in Gracely language. (I know, it sounds like she's got an extra grandma somewhere.) And well, if you know us at all, you know that Goo-Goo is the name we gave Miss Gracely right from birth and it has stuck. If you ask her what her name is, Goo-Goo is the answer you will get. And I'm quite alright with it myself. I think Goo-Goo is a perfect name! :)

We are winding down our wonderful visit with Grammy and Grampa, as they will be leaving first thing Wed. morning. It has been a great time of bonding between the little munchkins and their grams. We are not looking forward to saying "good-bye" at all, but we are thankful that they are able to be "snow-birds" and live with us for the winter. We had a great time in Destin to end their time with us, which is where these adorable pics are from.

Much love to you all!

Welcome to our new family blog!

Welcome! This is our new Howatt Family blog. We have had websites for the kiddos for the past several years, but to be quite honest, I was getting very behind on updating it and very overwhelmed by the thought of doing so. This is a much simpler way of keeping everyone updated on our little fam! So the family blog is born! I hope you enjoy!
P.S. I know what you really want: new pics of Emerson and Goo-Goo! Stay tuned...pics are coming very soon!
